Register to O-FONE network and make calls

The following instruction will guide you how to register to the O-FONE network and initiate SIP calls with us.

1. Register free WiFi access point

search for Data connection wLAN or cellular 3G


choose your access point you wish to connect

2. Register with "authentication required" access point

In some places like restaurants or cafes the access to the web blocked by a preview page that the user need to check the "accept agreement" box. start your mobile browser and choose one of the access point that will pop-up automatically.
in some cases your mobile could be configured to automatically use your cellular provider DATA access point. In that case change manually to use "available wLAN"

Enter the "Username", "Password", check the agreement box and start surf the web to activate the web access.


Now open the O-FONE SIP client and try to register via the open access point 

OR connect the integrated Nokia SIP client

Select Menu > Connect. > internet tel.

3. Configure a secure access point with Nokia supported WiFi phone's

In case the WIFI router is secured you should enter the right password (provided by the router owner) in the right wep-key.

select the security mode


select the encryption mode and enter the security code 

4. Making outgoing calls

Choose a name from your address book or just dial a number and press option>call>internet call

Note: you may configure your mobile to make internet call by default
