The following instructions will guide you through the installation and configuration of your O-FONE Softphone. Before installing and running the softphone application. Your computer should support Java©. Java technology allows you to work and play in a secure computing environment over the net.
If your PC don’t have the latest recommended version of Java installed for your operating system the installation prompt will guide you to go java download website:

Once the installation is successfully completed, you will see the 'Verify Installation' page where you can verify your Java version installation.
NOTE: You may need to restart (close and re-open) your browser to enable the Java installation
Once the installation of the Java is completed, follow the instruction for installing and setting up the
soft-phone.
Unzip the "OFONE_SOFTPHONE_install.zip" file and Run the SIPphoneinstaller application
In case you have a previous version installed on the computer, follow the instruction to remove or overwrite the previous version and install a new version.
Installation of a new version
Follow the wizard which will guide you through the installation of O-FONE SIPCommunication Center.
1. Accept the terms in the License Agreement and press Next
2. Select the components to Install
3. Choose Installation folder location, and press Install
4. The application will start with the installation.
5. The installation was completed.
Select Configuration in order to configure the user name & Password.

Enter your User and Password, which you received during the registration (Usually sent to your mobile phone via SMS)

Press – OK.
6. Close the application and double click the "fixCodecOfone.reg" file included in the zip file.
click "ok".
7. Open the softfone application.
Now that the softphone configured you can start making calls
In case your Softphone didn't registered automatically
try to search your IP manually:
Press the icon pointed by the red arrow and right click your mouse on O-FONE account to register manually
Initiating a call:
To initiate a call press the NEW CALL button or the Accept button .gif)

Enter the required number, Press the Dial button or Accept button. For calls outside
O-FONE network please add 00 before the number: for Example to call a number at Swiss dial the following 00 41 52 577 0134.
To end the call, simply press the Cancel button or the End button .gif)
Note
If you are not registered to the service, indication will appear at the upper right corner of the dialing area.
If you are not registered you will not be able to perform or receive calls.
