Setup Nokia Internet Telephone edition

The following instruction will guide you through the setting up of the most Nokia Symbian smart-phones supported Internet Telephone mobile phone, to O-FONE network.

Creating or Editing SIP profiles

Select Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection > SIP settings > Options > Add new or Edit.

Edit your configuration like the following:

• Profile name — Enter our network name: O-FONE.com
• Service profile — Select IETF
• Default access point — Select the access point to use for the Internet connection. If no access point was define, see instruction for setting up a WI-FI connection.
• Public user number — Enter your user number which you received from O-FONE during registration to the service. For example if the user number is 80543344556, then type the following: 81234567890@o-fone.com
  (no need to enter sip: it added automatically)
• Use compression — Select No
• Registration — Select When needed (note for the user: you can choose "always on" your mobile will try to find any available AP and try to registered. This action will cost short battery life)
• Use security — Select No

 Select Proxy server, to enter the proxy server Settings for this SIP profile.

• Proxy server address - Enter the following address: sip.o-fone.com ("sip:" will be added automatically by the phone) 
• Realm - Enter the following address: o-fone.com
• User name - Enter your user name for example: 81234567890
• Password - Enter you password which you received during the registration: ABCdef123
• Allow loose routing - Select: Yes
• Transport type - Select: Auto
• Port - Enter port number: 5060

Select Back Or Select Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection > SIP settings > Options > Add new or Edit > Registrar server to edit the registration servers

Select Registrar server - Enter the registration server settings for this SIP profile

• Registrar serv. Addr.- Enter the following address: o-fone.com ("sip:" will be added automatically by the phone) 
• Realm - Enter the following address: o-fone.com
• User name - Enter your user number For example: 81234567890
• Password - Enter you password which you received during the registration 123456 
• Transport type - Select:UDP
• Port - Enter port number: 5060

Select Back three times, Or Select Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection — to set the Internet telephony settings.

Select Internet tel. settings - to set the Internet telephony network.

Select Ofone
Name - Enter the following name Ofone and Press OK

• SIP profiles - Select O-FONE - and Press OK
• Press OK

press back three times, or select , Menu > Tools > Settings until you reach the setting window

Select Call to set some of the calling features.

Scroll through the different settings to configure the following features.

• Name - Enter the following name Ofone
• Send my net call ID - Select YES
• Internet call waiting - Select Activated
• Internet call alert - Select On
• Default call type - Select Internet (Note :Regardless of this setting, creating a call with the call key will automatically create a cellular call if the Internet service is not available)

Press Back and Exit to return to the main screen.
